Club & Race Organiser Resilience Application

POSTED:

Athletics Ireland is delighted to confirm that the following clubs secured financial assistance from Sport Ireland funding in the recent Club and Race Organiser Resilience application. We congratulate all the organisations who provided us with detailed information and we wish to note that we were extremely diligent in complying with the strict application criteria to secure these funds.

All clubs were invited to attend two webinars about the scheme and the closing date was extended. Part of the grant includes funds ringfenced towards a training plan the clubs submitted to upskill new and existing club coaches and administrators in conjunction with their local Regional Development Officer. In total there are organisations from 17 counties which have benefitted from the scheme.
