GEORGIE HARTIGAN SETS NEW 1,000M RECORD

Georgie Hartigan of Dundrum South Dublin AC has set a National 1,000m Record with a time of 2:40.01 at the World Indoor Tour in Birmingham.

Hartigan finished the race in seventh position.  

The previous record holder was Nadia Power with a time of 2:41.29 which was set back in 2020.
