NATIONAL 10K STATEMENT

Athletics Ireland and the event organiser Dublin City Harriers wish to apologise to all participants for the unforeseen circumstances that led to yesterday’s Great Ireland Run (incorporating the national 10k championship) being less than the specified distance. 

Athletics Ireland and Dublin City Harriers continue to engage on this matter and all event participants will be contacted again in the coming days when further information becomes available.

We thank all parties for their patience and once again we apologise to all participants.
