Thousands set to take on the Runuary Challenge this weekend

POSTED:

Thousands of joggers and runners from every county in Ireland are set to lace up this weekend to complete their respective Runuary programmes. The Irish Life Health 'Runuary' programme which has supported runners of all levels to 'run January and not let it run them' reaches its conclusion this weekend with participants set to finish the month long programme on January 31st.

Irish Life Health developed Runuary in conjunction with Athletics Ireland to support runners to continue their lockdown running routine and to have a positive and healthy start to 2021. Starting on January 1st, it has encouraged runners, from beginners to the more experienced, to commit to challenging but realistic running programmes, with a target distance to be completed on January 31st.

This weekend will see the culmination of the last four weeks of training as participants set out on completing their respective distances while sticking to the latest Government advice in relation to COVID-19.

Participants are still invited to enter if they wish to be involved with registration and time submission details listed below.
