World Athletics Road Running Championships Policy

Athletics Ireland has published it's selection policy for the 2023 World Athletics Road Running Championship, which will be held in Riga, Latvia from 30th September to 1st October 2023.

Athletics Ireland views the 2023 World Athletics Road Running Chanmpionships as a competition opportunity consistent with its High Performance vision of “more athletes winning on the world stage”, while simultaneously acknowledging this event as a qualification opportunity for further major championships including the 2024 European Championships and 2024 Olympic Games.
